I Agree with you LovesMo, if there is a tournament that she can do good it is the AO.

She does not have an easy draw, so it will be a very test for her to know if she can or not compete at a high level.

I would be the happiest one if Amélie could go to the final and win AO.
Let's cross our fingers and believe in her.....

Well....What do I know ?!
I can't believe she lost already. I didn't even get to see her play.
I don't know why she can't get back to where she was before. There's
probably lots of reasons I don't know about. But since I have seen
a few others do it, I hoped she could too. I still hope so. But I'm
gettin' nervous !!
I wish she'd be like Murray. They said he watches tapes of matches of
everyone he might play. I wish even that she'd watch tapes of her
self. When she was winning How she used to come in to
the net. And it worked !!
Oh well....I'll keep hoping. I'd love to see her win again before she
retires.

I saw her play through the http://www.channelsurfing.net/.

I think the main difference between Amélie 2006-2007 is the strength. The younger player hot the ball really flat and really hard. From what I saw from her is that she cannot hit the ball as hard as them. She has a lot more game then they do, but at some point the velocity at which the other players are hitting the ball, beats all the nice shot Amélie can do.
She has an amassing service and back-hand and slice, and so many other, but the kids have the youth and the strength and she is starting to miss.
It hurts me to write that, but if we are honest with ourselves, what Amélie need is a aggressive game.
This is just my opinion, and I might very be wrong......

Very true. The young ones do hit the ball so hard. But
they hit it so accurately too. I wish Amelie could be as accurate
and have less unforced errors. And yes, she should be more
agressive. Coming in to the net, serve-volley,.... used to work
so well for her. If she could get that back again, we could have
hope !!

We just have to believe...
It does not hurt and maybe she'll feel the vibe and win. So killing 2 birds with one stone. .
Her being to win again and us being happy to see her win again....
